You can’t do it all by yourself

ME 40 Product Teardown

For my mechanical design class, my friends Jeremy, Bridget and I were tasked with tearing down a electric knife and providing a report on its use and design, including a Solidworks Model. We all collectively spent time using calibers and other tools to measuring and deconstruct the knife for parts and completing the research for the report. My responsibilties for the model included reverse engineering the electric knife, and CADing the 20+ parts in Solidworks. Using the parts created by my other classmates, I mated the parts together to create the assembly.
